Indefinite Articles: A and An

We use a and an when we talk about something for the first time or something that is not specific.

Use a before a consonant sound and an before a vowel sound.

Definite Article: The

We use the when we talk about something specific or something both people know.

The sun is hot.

No Article

Sometimes we do not use an article, especially when talking about things in general.
